Jan and I first became friends many years ago at Brownie Day Camp and were classmates through High School in Killingly. Although we lost touch since then, I am very sad to hear of her passing. My condolences to all her family.

As we grew up, I admired Jan for her personality, which I came to realize reminded me of her mother, who I greatly admired. Like Aunt Vi, Jan's passing has come too early. As the oldest of the Doiron cousins I fully expected that I would be the first in the family to go. I hoped and prayed she would win the good fight, but God had other plans. My deepest sympathies to Lee and the boys and her extended Wippert, Tierney and Doiron families.

... Jan was the nicest person.  My earliest memory of her was at your Aunt Vi's house at Christmas time when Steve and I were dating.  I remember the two of you kissed at greeting or when you were about
to leave and you were very impressed with her berry flavored lip gloss. There were a few little jokes that followed.  Seriously though, she was
always a warm person to me and I know one of Steve's favorites.

It is such a shame for all of our loved ones to die so young.  I just wish it wasn't so.

We are sadden by the loss of one of god's earthly angels. He must have had room in his garden to plant a lovely flower.

For all her love shared with the boys, all the years of the bikes in her driveway and yes the "best darn grilled cheese," Her spirit will live on through all she touched.

All our memories and care for the family up the hill,

Laura,Scott,Mike and Liz

With much sadness I learned of Jan's passing. Although not close friends, we were "sister" nursing students at HHSN. Jan's wonderful sense of humor and poise were always at the forefront. Please accept my condolences at this sad time.

It's been a long time since nursing school and the days in our apartment afterward, but I always think of Wip with a smile and a warm place in my heart. She was a truly special person. Thanx for the memories, Jan. My prayers are with you and your family, Lee.
